Dark End Stone is a darker version of End Stone. It can be only gotten by harvesting it from The End, making it non-renewable. To prevent it from being destroyed without the player wanting to, the Enderdragon cannot destroy when it passes through it.
When just sitting there, the block will emit smoke particles. Walking on it without sneaking will damage you (3 points, 1 and half hearts).
The only use for this block at the moment is for decoration and traps.
